Allysha is an Accredited Specialist (Family Law) who commenced her legal career in 2014 as a generalist before finding her niche in family law. She obtained her Masters in Family Law during 2017, is an accredited Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner and a qualified Independent Children’s Lawyer. Allysha has completed a course on Not-For-Profit Risk and Governance and serves on the Executive of the Women Lawyers Association.
Allysha is currently studying her Masters of Business Administration with RMIT University which gives her a relevant commercial perspective on family law property settlements and a deep and unique understanding of all aspects of running a business.
Wherever possible and appropriate Allysha assists clients with alternate dispute resolution including round table conferences, mediation, and arbitration. Allysha provides comprehensive and focused advice to ensure clients are in control of their case and informed to make educated decisions about their future.
When required Allysha is an effective advocate and successfully uses her knowledge and experience to enable clients to obtain their best possible outcome in litigation. Allysha is empathetic, supportive and responsive to clients during their family law case and will consistently explore solutions to obtain the best possible outcome for clients.
Allysha regularly volunteers with the Women’s Legal Service providing advice and mentors law students and graduates through the University of New South Wales and Law Society of New South Wales.
