Doyles Family Law Guide

Annelise was admitted to practise as a solicitor in 2002 and has at all times practised exclusively in Family Law. She has experience in all aspects of Family Law work, including complex and arduous financial and parenting cases, involving intricate corporate and trust structures, and relocation and Hague Convention matters. Annelise has acted for high profile clients and high net worth individuals and remains discrete at all times. Annelise has been recommended as one of the Doyle’s Guide’s Recommended Family & Divorce Lawyers in Sydney for 2020, a Leading Family Lawyer (High Value & Complex Property Matters) NSW and a Leading Parenting & Children’s Matters Lawyer NSW in 2020.

Before she became a lawyer, Annelise spent more than 15 years in the music and advertising industries. This allows her to bring to the practice of Family Law an understanding of the commercial realities of the market place, as well as the way business works. That understanding, coupled with her keen eye for detail, investigatory skills and commitment to excellence, has seen Annelise focus on “big money” financial cases, many of which involve international aspects and in doing so, she has worked and continues to work with leading forensic accountants, estate lawyers, taxation lawyers and the most senior barristers in the field.

Annelise’s commitment to excellence and her care and empathy for her clients sees her tirelessly and constantly striving for the best results possible within a sensible and practical framework.  As a trained collaborative lawyer Annelise aims to achieve the most effective result possible in the most respectful and appropriate manner for each individual client, where possible by way of a negotiated outcome outside of the Courtroom.

Annelise has a Masters of Applied Family Law (NSW College of Law).  She is proud to be co-president of the Central Sydney Collaborative Forum as well as having memberships with the Collaborative Professionals (NSW) Inc, Women Lawyers Association of NSW, the Family Law Section of the Law Council of Australia as well as The Law Society of New South Wales. Annelise is also a Graduate Fellow of the New South Wales College of Law.
