Doyles Family Law Guide
Alicia is an accredited specialist in family law and has practised exclusively in family law for over 10 years. In that time, Alicia has assisted many families during relationship breakdowns, including with property settlements, parenting arrangements and child support issues. She provides clear and pragmatic guidance and advice and focuses on resolving disputes cost-effectively and in the best interests of her clients and their children.
Before specialising in family law, Alicia worked in corruption investigations in the UK. This provided Alicia with an intense focus on detail and forensic investigation skills.
As well as being a trained collaborative lawyer, Alicia routinely acts as an advocate for her clients in all forms of alternative dispute resolution, including mediation, conciliation and arbitration. Where possible, she strives to resolve disputes out of court.
If court proceedings are commenced, Alicia’s clients are well served by her experience and her advice is key to reducing stress and ensuring optimal outcomes in court-based processes. It is important to Alicia to support her clients throughout the legal process, minimising their emotional distress and providing them with resources and assistance to navigate a difficult time in their lives. Alicia is highly responsive and provides targeted advice for each client’s specific situation. She is empathetic whilst providing frank and solution-focused advice.
Alicia is the co-president of the Central Sydney Collaborative Forum and a member of the board of Collaborative Professionals NSW. Alicia is admitted to the Supreme Court of NSW. She is a member of the Family Law Section of the Law Council of Australia.
