An Accredited Specialist in Family Law, Georgia commenced practice in Sydney in early 2020 following successful early career years as a family lawyer in Tasmania with a Doyles Guide Family & Divorce Lawyers Top Tier firm.
Georgia is passionate about family law practice and finding tailored solutions for her clients. Georgia can provide advice in relation to all aspects of family law including parenting matters, financial matters, and spouse maintenance, with a particular interest and experience in complex parenting matters including parental alienation, sexual abuse and relocation matters (both domestic and international).
Georgia is an experienced negotiator. She represents clients in alternative dispute resolution processes including mediation, and encourages clients to consider the full range of options available to resolve their disputes. Where litigation is necessary, Georgia’s clients benefit from her experience before the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia. Georgia’s previous experience in child protection law, criminal law and family violence matters also allows her to understand the needs of clients with cross-jurisdictional concerns.
Georgia is an involved member of the legal community. She is a committee member of Australian Lawyers for Human Rights (National Committee), and the Diversity and Inclusion Committee of Law Society of New South Wales. She is also a general member of the LGBT Family Law Institute, Women Lawyers Association of New South Wales, and the Family Law Section of the Law Council of Australia.
