Belinda holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Laws (Honours). Whilst completing her studies, Belinda worked at the Federal Circuit and Family Court providing procedural advice to both litigants and solicitors. Since completing her studies, she worked as a Legal Associate and later an Associate to two Judges of Division 1 of the Federal Circuit and Family Court.
Through Belinda’s work at the Court she has developed a deep understanding of the family law system. She has experience with a range of family law issues including divorce, maintenance disputes and complex financial disputes. Belinda has particular knowledge of the intricacies of complex parenting disputes having worked directly for the Magellan Judge who heard matters involving serious allegations of child abuse.
Belinda understands the stress the family law system can cause to her clients and is committed to providing pragmatic advice to best meet the needs of her clients.
