Nicholas was admitted to practice in 2019. He commenced his career in commercial litigation and subsequently moved into family law to have greater client contact.
He spent 3 years at a respected Canberra family law firm where he developed advanced advocacy skills running his own matters and appearing independently at contested court hearings and mediations. He was named in the Rising Stars category of Doyle’s Guide – Canberra (2023).
Nicholas also did some complex financial family law work in Canberra and instructed senior counsel at several trials, interim hearings and mediations. He became respected by several members of the bar as a diligent and technically astute instructing solicitor.
Nicholas joined us in January 2024 to focus more on matters involving difficult questions of law. He is particularly adept at analysing issues at the intersection of the law of trusts and family law.
Nicholas holds a Master of Applied Law (Family Law) and is currently in the advanced stages of a Master of Laws at the University of Sydney.
